Choose Your Path: Full-Time or Part-Time
🌟 Full-Time Training Program (4 Months)
Theory & Technical Knowledge: In the first month, gain in-depth knowledge of massage therapy and wellness treatments, combined with basic English skills essential for client interactions before, during, and after each session. Classes run weekdays from 9 AM to 5 PM
Hands-On Experience: The remaining three months focus on practical training at one of our Laama Spa locations, either in a five-star hotel or at our flagship Laama Grand Wellness center in front of the Temple of the Tooth Relic, giving you real-world experience as a therapist
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM
🌟 Part-Time Training Program (10 Months)
Theory & Technical Knowledge: Learn the foundations of wellness and client communication on weekends for the first two and a half months, covering essential therapy techniques and basic English skills to effectively communicate with clients
Hands-On Experience: After building a strong knowledge base, spend the next seven and a half months practicing as a therapist on weekends at one of our Laama Spa locations or at Laama Grand Wellness in Kandy
Schedule: Saturdays & Sundays, 9 AM – 5 PM

You’ll have the chance to apply what you’ve learned in real-world settings, guided by experienced mentors and working with clients. Each trainee receives a Certificate of Acknowledgment at the end of the program, validating your hands-on experience and adding immense value to your resume

Body Massages: Javanese- Balinese Technique, Waves- Hawaiian Technique, Ayurveda- Indian Technique and Fusion- Thai & Swedish Technique
Spot Massages: Back Energy, Foot Loose, Head & Shoulder, and Indian Head
Facials: Natural Beauty & Natural Anti Aging
Body Conditioners: Jasmine Flower, Rose Petals & Gotukola Leaves
Body Scrubs: Honey Sesame Ginger Scrub, Herbal Body Scrub, Revitalizing Sea Salt Scrub
Anatomy & Physiology: Understanding the body for maximum therapeutic benefits
Client Care: Communication skills to build trust and comfort with clients, reinforced with basic English to guide your client interactions
Specialized Knowledge: Techniques like marma point integration in facial rejuvenation and the secrets of anti-aging therapies
The course will be conducted entirely in English, providing you with both the technical skills and language proficiency essential for success in the global wellness industry. These skills will equip you with the confidence to excel as a Laama-trained therapist, ready to meet the demands of international clients
Flexible Payment Options & Support During Training
To make training accessible, we offer flexible payment options. The training fee is LKR 250,000 per person, covering all course materials and sessions. For couples, we provide a 10% discount to support shared learning. The fee can be paid in three instalments within the first month. Additionally, once you begin the practical phase, you’ll receive a monthly allowance, ensuring financial support as you refine your skills.
